Step 1: Set static IP for the machine
To set a static IP for the Sharp AR-6031NV copier, hold down for 10 seconds the print
dimming key.
The screen will show a flashing gear icon, we press the number
37 and press the start key

The screen will display IP (auto), press the
ZOOM key to set a static IP, please set the IP according to your existing network.
For example, your network IP is 192.168.1.1 then you would set the following:
Press 192 press start

Press 168 press start

Press 1 press start
<I>
Press 200 press start
<I> (this is the IP address you set for this copier)
Continue to press the zoom key 25, the screen will display to the address SU (short for subnet mask)
Press 255 press start

Press 255 press start

Press 0 press start
<I>
Continue to press the zoom key 25, the screen will display to the address dE (short for default gateway)
Press 192 press start

Press 168 press start

Press 1 press start

Press the print
dimming key again to save.
Then you turn off the photocopier and turn it back on, now the machine has a static IP address.
Step 2: Install the print and scan driver over the network port
You go to Sharp's website at: https://global.sharp/restricted/products/copier/downloads/select_us_driver.html
You fill in the information in the section on the website and click Next, Next. The website will list the necessary drivers for your computer. Now you need to select the print driver (SPLC/PCL6) and scan (Scanner) click download and install.
After the installation is complete, restart your computer.
Step 3: Check print and scan the first version
You go to:
Control Panel \ All Control Panel Items \ Devices and Printers, select the printer and print a test print.
To scan, you need a PDF reader software, then you create a new PDF file, select the source from the scanner, import it into the Sharp scanner and click scan. Or you can download
Network Scanner Tool Lite software to scan.
Note: You must turn on the scan mode on the machine (SCAN button) before scanning.
This setting is applicable to Sharp AR-6020, Sharp AR-6023, Sharp AR-6026.
